The Wayfinder Systems Journal is a public record of meaningful progress, decisions, discoveries, failures worth preserving, and lessons learned while building. It is not intended to make every day look successful. It exists to preserve what may matter later.
Why Keep a Journal?
Progress loses part of its value when only the final result survives.
The decisions that shaped it matter. The failed approaches matter. The assumptions that proved wrong matter. The reason a direction changed matters.
The Journal preserves enough context that someone reading later can understand more than what happened. They can understand why.
